Java Jolt in Jacksonville

I don’t drink coffee but my boyfriend does and he always comes out with a smile and a cup of coffee of course.

Food is always excellent and fresh. Coffee is wonderful. Atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.

Interesting find. Coffee was excellent and the shop is much bigger than you might think, especially as a visitor to the area.

Ron the owner is an awesome guy! Very friendly and accommodating! He has a great selection of amazing fresh beans, great prices, and awesome coffee! Not sure I would have made it through my 2 week work trip in the area if not for java jolt.

Got a Mocha and a house coffee. Both were very good. Didn't taste burned like Charbucks coffee.

Not super fast, but some of the best coffee you can buy if you want to relax and enjoy it. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem in Jacksonville, Java Jolt is a wonderful coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere and they have good prices for their drinks. Perfect for conversations or for study cram sessions. If you're big on coffee, the quality of the brews depends on the roaster they are partnered with. The pastry selection is great and freshly baked in store. They have some of the best muffins in the southeast.

The service was great & the atmosphere adorable, but honestly the coffee was not. It was bitter & tanic. Not smooth at all. I ended up loading it with cream to cut the flavor.

Cute little place. Sadly, the drip coffee I just got might be the worst I’ve ever had. Seems like they’re starting with some really bad tasting water, possibly from a well. Starting with fresh clean water might make it so at least it’s drinkable, but this stuff is being dumped. Gets 2 stars because it’s a neat little place with a lot of potential.

Wonderful beverages and delicious food, and the baristas are kind and courteous. The atmosphere is quite calming and rejuvenating. I loved coming here to study, either with a few friends or by myself, or to just relax and unwind. I love Java Jolt!

Im addicted to their Cranberry walnut Muffins

Love that they are clean and of course their coffee! I love their espresso frap! Not too sweet and not too bitter! They are super friendly, just wish they'd either be more involved in greetings and letting customers know that they will be right with them or keep someone at the register more. However, it isn't too bad of a wait and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'll be back soon!

It's a very quaint little spot. Staff is very attentive, clean, and they brought my items out to me when they saw I was disabled. One of the best coffee shops I've been in.

Excellent coffee. My favorite: latte with no sugar. The coffee is so smooth that it lets you taste the natural sugar of the milk. Superb staff and management. JJ is my real office: I can work better there than anywhere else, and of course also be more alert.

Always great Coffee and good baked goods. Cool little place to chill out for a minute. Also served iced coffee and smoothies. Never disappointed.

I have been here before but it was quite awhile ago. Got a breakfast sandwich called the morning jolt...it was yummy....great coffee. Great people working here. Will be back.

If you need some quiet time and a great latte, this is the place! I ordered a vanilla latte, with cream and it was the best! It was, of course, hot and cooled off while a friend of mine were chatting. The store felt warm and cozy. Easy to relax. The cashier and staff were really nice. Great place!

Laid back atmosphere and friendly service. The coffee is always delicious and what I have had of the lunch menu is great as well.

Stopped in this morning on a trip to see family in town. I got a breakfast sandwich and latte - both were delicious and the breakfast sandwich was so huge I skipped lunch! The service was friendly and fast.I have a special place in my heart for J’ville and love to see the square thriving! Business like Java Jolt keep that energy going. Definitely plan on repeat visits!
